2019 Information Privacy Summer Institute
The Information Privacy Summer Institute is a joint effort between Maine Law and the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Existing attorneys can leverage this summer session to earn CLE credits or venture into a growing and dynamic new practice area, and current J.D. students can develop a valuable specialty while still in school.
Courses in the 2019 Information Privacy Summer Institute include:
- Global Privacy Law (Professor Gabe Maldoff)
- Health Care Privacy & Security (Professor Kirk Nahra)
- State Privacy Law Enforcement (Professor Ryan Kriger)
- Privacy and Innovation (Professor Rita Heimes)
Professionals can register for courses online at: mainelawcommunity.org/2019-information-privacy. Law students should contact lawregistrar@maine.edu to register. All classes will be held at the Wishcamper Center at the University of Southern Maine on Bedford Street in Portland.
