You are encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by January 15. Do not wait for an admission decision to fill out your FAFSA! This will enable us to determine eligibility before the first non-refundable tuition deposit is due.
To complete FAFSA:
- Visit the FAFSA website.
- Use code number 009762 (Note: this is the same code as the University of Southern Maine.)
- You can complete your FAFSA for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year using tax returns from 2018.
Note that no additional (institutional) application for financial aid at the University of Maine School of Law is required.
Additionally, the USM priority deadline is February 1.
For additional information regarding your FAFSA application, please contact Norma Catalano (firstname.lastname@example.org or 207.780.4166) in the Office of Student Financial Services at the University of Southern Maine.
