The University of Maine School of Law offers two dual degree programs in conjunction with the University of Southern Maine’s Muskie School of Public Service.

J.D./M.P.H.

Maine Law’s J.D./M.P.H. dual degree program with the Muskie School of Public Service is an accelerated program that allows students to obtain a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree in four years rather than five. Public health is an important, ever-changing and growing area of expertise. Students will gain interdisciplinary knowledge and skills to prepare them for the growing field of regulatory compliance and public health policy.

J.D./M.P.P.M.

The Law School and the Muskie School of Public Service also offer a program through which students can earn both a J.D. degree and a Master of Policy, Planning, and Management (M.P.P.M) degree.

Separate admission to the Muskie School of Public Service and the University of Maine School of Law is required.
