The Justice For Women Lecture (JFW) Series brings a distinguished speaker to Maine annually to present a public lecture and to contribute to a global conversation about justice for women and girls in the developing world.

The Lecture Series was established in 2011 with the generous support and leadership of Catherine Lee of Lee International.

    Dr. Jane Anyango

    Dr. Jane Anyango is a distinguished nursing leader and educator from Uganda with over 20 years of experience in community health, domestic violence, and nursing education. Currently an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Ball State University, Dr. Anyango specializes in maternal-child nursing, midwifery education, and clinical research. Her career bridges the gap between high-level policy and compassionate, frontline care, making her a vital voice in the global conversation on healthcare and justice.
