REUNION UPDATE:
Maine Law has made the difficult decision to cancel or postpone hosting in person, public events for the fall semester, effective 8/30/21, due to ongoing concerns regarding transmission of the COVID-19 delta variant. We are disappointed that once again we are unable to gather together to celebrate Maine Law Reunion as a community.
Since many of us are long overdue for an update on all things Maine Law, we will still be hosting the virtual Dialogue with the Dean gathering. We have adjusted the day and time to better accommodate schedules, so please plan to join Dean Leigh Saufley on zoom on Tuesday, September 21st at 12:30 pm to hear about the many exciting things happening at Maine Law. (Alumni will receive the zoom link to attend this event via email.)
Even though we can’t gather this fall to celebrate, you can still have a piece of Maine Law at home with your own Maine Law YETI coffee mug. These custom mugs can be purchased online and will be available for pick up or delivery by mail.
The University of Maine School of Law will host a Reunion Weekend on September 17-18, 2021. All alumni are invited to come back to Maine Law to connect with classmates, faculty, and friends.
On Friday, September 17th, the weekend kicks off with Bowling and Brews at Bayside Bowl. The fun continues on Saturday, September 18th with a morning walk around the Back Cove Trail.
In the afternoon, Dean Leigh Saufley will provide exciting updates on Maine Law during Dialogue with the Dean. The Reunion Weekend concludes with sunset views of Portland during a celebration of the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic’s 50th Anniversary at the Reunion Rooftop Cocktail Party.
