Chris Haley joined the University of Maine School of Law in February 2024 as our Chief Development Officer. Chris has over 30 years of advancement experience primarily in higher education having spent time at Colgate University, Cornell University, and Loyola University Maryland. He joins us from Maine Maritime Academy where he served for eight and a half years as their Vice President for Institutional Advancement overseeing fundraising, alumni relations, and the alumni magazine.
Chris grew up in Ithaca and Potsdam New York where his father was in alumni and development work. He then moved to Baltimore, MD where he went to high school and then went on to Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH where he received his BSBA in Marketing. While working at Loyola University Maryland, Chris earned his master’s in business administration.
