In light of the continuing spread and impact of COVID-19, Maine Law will not be hosting Reunion Weekend as planned this year. We are disappointed we had to make this difficult decision, but the health and safety of our Maine Law community must remain our priority amid the uncertainties of the weeks ahead. We will be issuing refunds for anyone who has already registered.
The University of Maine School of Law will host a Reunion Weekend on June 12-13, 2020. All alumni are invited to come back to Maine Law to connect with classmates, faculty, and friends.
Alumni attending reunion weekend will enjoy a lobster bake on Peaks Island on Friday evening. The Lobster Bake will include the presentation of the 2020 Distinguished Service Award and remarks by Interim Dean Dmitry Bam.
On Saturday a CLE event will be held at the Law School. The CLE event will be presented by Aria Eee ’94 on “Take Action or Take a Seat: Navigating the Dicey World of Bystander Intervention.” Maine attorneys who attend this event will receive 1.25 CLE credits and will qualify for Bar Rule 5 (c)(3) [Avoiding Harassment & Discrimination] training and credit.
