Marta Young
Visiting Professor of Law Interim Director of Academic Success
Marta Young joined Maine Law in 2016 as a Visiting Professor. She also currently serves as the Interim Director of Academic Success. Prof. Young teaches Legal Methods and Reasoning in the fall and Foundations of Bar Skills in the spring. Throughout the year, she provides academic success and bar exam preparation support to students.
In addition to teaching at Maine Law, Prof. Young is the Senior Director of Learning and Instruction at BARBRI. She designs course curriculum and teaches law students all around the country. Prior to joining BARBRI, Prof. Young served as the Director of Academic and Bar Support at Texas A&M School of Law. She is passionate about teaching and helping students succeed in law school and on the bar exam.
