Professor Harris joins Maine Law in the Spring of 2022 as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Law, teaching Property and Land Use Law. His academic areas of interest include writing articles that advocate for clarity, consistency, and fairness in Fifth Amendment takings law.

Harris previously taught as a Visiting Professor at the University of Idaho College of Law and as an Adjunct Professor at Seattle University Law School of Law. He teaches, Property, Real Estate Transactions and Land Use Law. He is a graduate of the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where he was the Chief Articles Editor of the McGeorge Law Review, on the Moot Court Honors Board, and a member of the Traynor Academic Honor Society. He has both a master’s and a bachelor’s degree in rhetoric from the University of California, Davis.
