Bri Zhuang

Bri joined Maine Law’s Refugee and Human Rights Clinic as the first Sally L. Stevens Immigration Law Fellow in August 2024. They supervise the work of student attorneys in both direct representation work as well as broader projects advocating for immigrants’ rights. In addition to English, Bri speaks Mandarin Chinese and French.

Bri earned their B.A. in political science and completed an interdisciplinary minor in human rights at the University of California, Berkeley. As an undergraduate, they studied abroad in Switzerland at the University of Geneva.

In law school, Bri was a student attorney at the Boston University School of Law’s Immigrants’ Rights and Human Trafficking Clinic, where they directly represented indigent noncitizens before the Boston Immigration Court. Prior to joining the clinical faculty and staff at Maine Law, Bri worked at Fragomen in San Francisco, Joyce & Associates in Boston, and served as a judicial intern at the Executive Office for Immigration Review in Boston.

Outside of work, Bri can be found reading fantasy and science fiction books.
