Jenn comes to Maine Law having worked as a Staff Attorney at the Legal Aid Society’s New York County Criminal Defense Practice for five years, where she represented clients on felony and misdemeanor charges.  Jenn received a B.A. in Psychology from Wesleyan University and a J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. As a law student at Cardozo School of Law, Jenn participated in the Cardozo Criminal Defense Clinic and the Criminal Appeals Clinic. Jenn interned for Judge Kiyo A. Matsumoto, United States District Court Judge for the Eastern District of New York  She gained civil legal experience working as a summer associate at DLA Piper law firm in New York, where she worked on a divorce filing, FOIL/FOIA requests, reparations for a Holocaust survivor, and general civil research. Prior to attending law school Jenn was the Program Director of The Richard Avedon Foundation. In this capacity she managed the artist’s rights. She headed the archive project and oversaw publications and exhibitions. Jenn also directed the internship program.
