Maine Law alum Nick Lund, ’10, featured in Washington Post column

Oct. 16, 2013

PORTLAND, Maine – The Washington Post this month published a fascinating article about University of Maine School of Law alum Nick Lund, ’10.

Lund, a lawyer with the National Parks Conservation Association, volunteers with a group called Lights Out for Birds. The group is trying to determine how many birds are killed in Washington, D.C., by flying into buildings, particularly those that have clear glass walls or are lit up at night.

Lund is also a freelance nature writer, and worked as an Ocean and Coastal Law Fellow with the National Sea Grant Law Center. During his time at Maine Law he was a legal intern with the Maine Department of Environmental Protection.
