Student Affairs
The Assistant Dean for Student Affairs provides advice and counseling on academic and personal matters for students, and acts as a liaison between students, faculty, and other law school administrators. The Assistant Dean directs both the Academic Support Program and the Bar Review sessions open to all students. Additionally, the Assistant Dean plans programs ranging from orientation to graduation.
The Office of Student Affairs provides many services, including:
- Coordinating student activities such as orientation and graduation;
- Directing the Academic Support Program;
- Acting as the Liaison to the Office for Support for Students with Disabilities;
- Counseling and advising students regarding academic and personal problems, financial problems, leaves of absence, and other issues that affect a law student’s life; and
- Acting as a Liaison to the Student Bar Association.
