Professor Martin Rogoff is Awarded an Honorary Doctorate
The Université du Maine in Le Mans, France will award Professor Martin Rogoff with a Doctor Honoris Causa (Honorary Doctorate) in the Fall 2011. This is a wonderful and well-deserved recognition of the work Professor Rogoff has done over many years with the Université du Maine and with other French legal institutions. His work has included the annual Franco-American Seminar, in which law students from France and from Maine explore issues of comparative law and visit legal and judicial leaders in both nations.
Professor Martin Rogoff is a Maine Law Foundation Professor at the University of Maine School of Law, where he was appointed initially in 1972. He teaches and writes extensively on international and comparative law and is author of the recent book, French Constitutional Law: Cases and Materials.
