Pam Anderson joined Maine
Law & Civics Education in 1994 as Associate Director, becoming director
in 1996. She coordinates the statewide Maine Bullying Prevention Education
Program and the Conflict Management & Peer Mediation Program. She
organized Maine's Peer Mediation Association
in 1995, and provides staff support to the Southern
Maine chapter. She teaches School Law courses and summer
institutes for the College of Education & Human Development. She also
teaches workshops, institutes and courses in conflict resolution, mediation
and law-related education.
Prior to joining Maine
Law & Civics Education, Ms. Anderson was a consultant to Maine
Law-Related Education and operated a family mediation practice in Scarborough. She was director of Pine Tree Legal
Assistance from 1986-1990, and practiced law in Wisconsin
before returning to New England.
