J. Colby Wallace is a shareholder at Bernstein Shur’s Portland office and practices in the areas of trust and estate planning, administration, litigation and taxation with a related practice in the formation and administration of charitable organizations.  Colby received his law degree from the University of Maine (2001) and his undergraduate degree from Boston University (magna cum laude, 1997).

Colby is admitted to practice law in Maine and Massachusetts.  He serves on Maine Medical Center’s Planned Giving Committee, and is a member of the Cumberland, Maine State and American Bar Associations.  Colby has served as President of the Cumberland Bar Association and as Chair and Legislative Liaison of the Trusts & Estates Section of the Maine State Bar Association.

Colby Wallace is teaching Estate and Gift Taxation (Law 678) at the Law School this Fall.
