Avi Perry is a law clerk to the Honorable Kermit V. Lipez of the First Circuit Court of Appeals. Last year, he clerked for the Honorable Mark L. Wolf of the District of Massachusetts. Avi is a graduate of Yale College and Yale Law School. He has worked at the United Nations Childrens Fund (UNICEF) in Bangkok and the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) in Geneva. His research interests include administrative law, refugee law, civil procedure, and law and religion.

Half of Avi's family is from Waterville and, prior to law school, Avi worked as a sternman aboard a lobsterboat in Portland. He is delighted to be back in Maine and teaching at the law school.
