Christine Iaconeta, a 1996 graduate of the University of Maine School of Law, returned to her alma mater as the Director of the Garbrecht Law Library. Professor Iaconeta has worked in academic law libraries for many years areas in the areas of patron services, reference, and library administration. As the Director of the Law Library, she oversees the day to day operations of the law library as well as the long term planning of the organization. Professor Iaconeta teaches research in the first year Legal Research and Writing program and she teaches Advanced Legal Research to second and third year students.

Professor Iaconeta is a member of the California Bar and an active member of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL), Law Librarians of New England (LLNE), and New England Law Libraries Consortium (NELLCO). She has served on numerous committees and has held leadership positions in these organizations.
