The University of Maine School of Law offers a joint degree program combining the Juris Doctor (J.D.) and the Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with the University of Maine School of Business, which is accredited by AACSB International.

Benefits of the Program

Normally, the M.B.A. program takes 1.5 – 2 years to complete (42 credit hours) and the law program, three years (90 credit hours). This joint program reduces the total number of courses required by five (15 credit hours). This reduces the potential time from five years (132 credit hours) to four years plus a few summers (117 credit hours). Please note that specifics of the program are subject to change.

Separate admission to the programs is required.
